These web pages show the details of a teardown and tuneup of the Glenmard Portionator MBT- JR epoxy ratio pump. It is a very nice epoxy pump, works well, and is reliable in providing an accurate ratio of epoxy to hardener on each shot. I keep mine in a warming box with a temnperature maintained at around 90 degrees or so. I have had a very frustrating problem with the hardener side leaking constantly. Glenmarc customer service has been (VERY) wonderful, and I replaced some parts in the one-way check valves once but the problem never was fixed. It could be my use of the MGS Epoxy Resin and, in particular, the MGS hardener that is causing the problem. Without any success at solving the problem, the only solution that I could come up with was to always keep a cup under the output tubes to catch the drip.
